Easy to Pitch & Singer Sukhbir Singh led funding round for FITSPIRE Startup

Starcap wellness startup which is devoted to nutrition-focused wellness brand Fitspire has received funding in a pre-seed funding round from Angel Investors.

The funding was led by Easy to Pitch co-founder Nikhil Parmar and Priyanka Madnani. 

Easy to pitch is an organization that allows budding startups founders to pitch their ideas and concepts to gain investments and faith from potential investors.

Well, the most happening thing about this investment round was singer Sukhbir also invested in this round. The invested amount is not disclosed. This is not the first time that Sukhbir Singh has invested in a startup. He has been active in this since quite a time. Last year also, Sukhbir has invested in a doctor-patient engagement platform. Some of his other investments include electric two-wheeler rental platform eBike Go, Nature’s Tattva and co-working space provider Nukleus.

Sukhbir Singh disclosed that the reason behind he invested in the startup is that he has faith in Co-founders vision and the holistic approach of the company towards health and fitness.

Fitspire is a Delhi based startup founded in 2019 by IIM Lucknow alumni Vipen Jain and  Nidhi Jain.

Fitspire company is a vegan and vegetarian wellness brand and that its products cater to segments including sports, general health and children. The fund raised by the company will be primarily used to expand its product suite as well as its market presence. The startup is also planning to expand its business to the point that it will be able to cover the whole country.

“Growing consumer demand in vegan and vegetarian health supplements in recent past has led Fitspire to expand its business,” said Vipen Jain, co-founder o the startup.

Currently, the price of the products available in the company range somewhere around 1500 and by the end of the next month, the company aims to reach the capacity of providing 15 products in the market. The company has linked with online retailers such as Amazon and 1mg, as well as offline outlets such as health seminars to propose and sell their products.

As people nowadays are keen and careful to become fit and healthy by following a healthy diet, nutrition products, exercise to remain fit which is attracting the investors to invest in Health and fitness-oriented startups.

In the month of July, A91 Partner investors were looking to invest in an ayurvedic food brand co-founded by a family member of well-known ayurvedic products maker Baidyanath Group.

At the beginning of 2020, Mumbai-based in an ayurvedic products retailer Aadar herbals raised funding from venture capital firm Sprout Venture Partners and angel network LetsVenture.
