TechMainstay Software Pvt. Ltd is helping Food Outlets with Cloud-Based Solutions

Pune-based startup TechMainstay Software Pvt. Ltd has come with its own new plan and tried to put the use of technology in the right direction. The plan includes helping all types of food businesses leverage technology through its cloud-based end-to-end technology solution for managing restaurants. As the restaurant industry is facing fall during to coronavirus pandemic, this startup is trying to help the restaurants and food business from small to large food chains to manage many functions such as billing, analytics, CRM, QR code-based orderings, inventory-based management, waste management and much such work particular to food outlets.

TechMainstay Software Pvt Ltd was founded by Rahil Shaikh in 2014 with a vision to help with the uses of latest and trendy technologies available. The idea to help the restaurant was devised by Rahil Shaikh when he failed to build his own cloud kitchen due to lack of convenient and cost-effective management solutions.

“I launched TechMainstay Software as a web and mobile app development solution. At the same time, I also founded a cloud kitchen named Food2all, but it failed within six months due to lack of proper operations management,
While trying to purchase software to manage the business, I found the prices were in the range of Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000, and we could not afford it. In order to address this requirement with an affordable and robust solution, we developed TMBill as an operating system for the F&B industry,” said Rahil in a statement.

In 2016, Nilesh Gaikwad joined Rahil Shaikh as a co-founder and together they started working to expand their market arenas. Currently, there are 20 developers and 35 support and sales executives who are working across India.

The company’s best product is TMBill suite which offers a complete set of solutions for technology, operations and marketing needs of a food business. This service can be used by all kind of food businesses such as cafes, bars, bakeries etc.

“The products offered under the suite include TMBill Atlantic Desktop POS, TMBill Atlantic Mobile POS, QR Code enabled online ordering platform, Third-Party Integration, Waiter App, Captain App, KDS, TMBill Pacific POS, Restaurant website and mobile apps. We are using the latest technology for all TMBill products, i.e., React JS, electron framework, and JavaScript,” explained Rahil.

The range of products this startup provides also helps in tracking customer’s feedbacks, sales, revenues and outlet statistics on regular basis. The startup has integrated with third-party apps such as Zomato, Swiggy and Food Panda.

Currently, the startup is serving around 3000+ food outlets in 290 cities in about 9 different countries such as India, Denmark, Finland, Oman etc. The clients pay around 9,000 annually to avail the services provide by the startup. It is planning to expand the business and bring about 10,000 food outlets on board with the end of 2021.
